Tradly, from Panda Labs, is software that mobile and repair shops use to run their business. This page explains what information we handle and why. In short: a shop's information belongs to the shop, we use it only to run the service, and we do not sell it.
Who is responsible for what
The shop decides what to record about its own customers, staff and suppliers, and is responsible for doing so lawfully. We store and process that information on the shop's behalf to provide Tradly. For the visitors of this website and people who ask us about Tradly, we are responsible for the details they send us.
What we handle
- Shop information: shop and outlet names, settings, staff names, email addresses and phone numbers, and roles.
- Business records the shop enters: customers and what they owe, repair jobs, sales, stock, suppliers, expenses, attendance, payroll and partner records.
- Used-phone sellers' identity details: when a shop buys a used phone it can record the seller's CNIC number and photo. These are encrypted before they are stored and are shown in full only to staff the shop has allowed, and every such view is logged.
- Location at check-in: when a staff member checks in or out for attendance, the app reads the phone's location at that moment to confirm they are at the shop, and records the result. We do not track location at other times.
- Device details: a device identifier and basic device information, to keep each sign-in tied to a known phone and to detect tampered devices.
- Sign-in: staff sign in with a code sent to their email. We do not store passwords.
- Enquiries: the name, phone number and other details you give us on this website, and the messages you send us.
How we use it
To provide and secure the service, to bill shops, to answer enquiries and support requests, and to improve Tradly. We do not sell personal information and we do not use shops' customer data for advertising.
Who else sees it
We use service providers to host the service, store files and send email. They process information only on our instructions. When a shop asks for support, our staff may look at that shop's account. Each such session is recorded, and the shop can see it in its audit log. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
A shop's records are kept while its account is open, because shops need their history. A shop can export its data at any time. When a shop leaves and asks us to delete its data, we do so, apart from what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Backups are overwritten on a fixed cycle.
Your choices
If you are a customer or staff member of a shop, ask the shop first: it can correct or remove what it holds about you. If you contacted us through this website, write to us and we will correct or delete it.
Security
Each shop's data is separated from every other shop's inside the database itself. Connections are encrypted, sensitive fields are encrypted, and important actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected shops promptly if something goes wrong.
